Put down those hard plastic pieces of crap that Apple calls earbuds.
Ditto for the aircraft control tower headphones Dre calls Beats.
Denmark-based audio manufacturer AIAIAI has teamed up with tres-chic Parisian fashion house (and sometime record label) Kitsuné for a limited edition collaboration of its Tracks headphones, just in time for Copenhagen Fashion Week. (You're going, right?)
These look as good as they sound, and you won't feel like a walking billboard for a brand.
On the outside: Scandinavian simplicity with a bit of Walkman aesthetic in aluminum and leather. On the inside: 40mm drivers with 32 Ohms and a frequency range of 20-20,000Hz — which means high-quality sound with a good blend of bass and treble.
As a bonus, the headphones come with a QR code that lets you download a Kitsune-curated playlist, so you'll have fresh tunes right off the bat.
Part of Kitsuné's fall/winter 2013-14 collection, these will hit both Kitsuné and AIAIAI stores early next month (you can grab them online then, too). The regular AIAIAI Tracks headphones run you $70, so expect something a little north of that for the Kitsuné collaboration.
Not like measly things like price or availability would ever stop your headphone hunt.
