2. Actually "get out" when you choose to get out
When I have free time, I see a movie. My past couple family vacations have been to thoroughly un-exotic destinations like Ann Arbor and Chicago.
Meanwhile, my blind friends have been sail boat racing (sail boat racing!), cruising to the Caribbean, on week-long cross-country ski trips, touring in a band, and playing a league sport called Goalball.
Take a cue from these friends and get out and do something this summer. There are limitations, and there are self-imposed limitations — and more often than not, its a choice.
