They say clothes make the man. But we're gonna go ahead and say it's the shoes.
Especially so when it comes to summer. Flip-flops are just plain unacceptable anywhere but the short distance from the beach to the parking lot.
For the rest of the season, you need something casual but still throwback enough to warrant a late-night conversation opener. And thanks to Supreme's reintroduction of the Lampin, the Vans skate shoe you rocked back in 1993, you've got both of those boxes laced and tied.
Building on a classic Vans low-top foundation, the Lampin's been upgraded with a leather insole and suede nubuck uppers.
And even though they debut just in time for warm weather, these shoes are made to be more than a flash in the pan. All four colorways (if you count the very New York black-on-black) feature some cooler shades, so they'll work during those crisper months, too.
Since the Lampins debut today, the line of sneakerheads at Supreme's LA and NYC stores is already wrapping around the block.
Lucky for you, they're available online today, too.
