Pocket Power

Make room — but not much — for Fuel, the world's smallest phone charger

Big things, they say, come in small packages.

Napoleon. Peter Dinklage. Those incredible expanding dinosaur sponge thingies.

And now the Devotec Fuel Micro Charger, the world's smallest smartphone life saver.

Resembling a doll-sized gas can, Fuel is barely bigger than a quarter. Which means you'll definitely lose it in no time.

Which is a shame, really, since the aluminum charger can inject your phone with up to 30 minutes of emergency talk time, or a couple hours on standby. It'll even hold its charge for up to a month between re-juicings.

With its micro-USB connector, Fuel isn't yet iPhone-compatible, but a version is in the works. That hasn't dissuaded buyers, though — Fuel's Kickstarter campaign has been funded twice over, with two weeks still remaining on the campaign clock.

Which means it has serious potential. Which also means you'll wanna keep it on your carabiner so you'll never lose it between the couch cushions.

Too bad we can't say the same for Dinklage.
