Wine & Dine

Napa Valley celebrates their first annual CabFest

What's that? You want to meet The Dude? An Iron Man villain? A one-eyed cowboy?

Rejoice, for Jeff Bridges is coming to town with his band The Abiders to kick off CabFest in Napa Valley.

(We'll wait here while you change into some pajama pants and your rattiest cardigan.)

After the show, VIP All-Access holders can hang out at the exclusive Cigars & Guitars afterparty, where they're pairing stogies with library cabernets, whiskey tastings, and a rare guitar exhibit. So yeah, lots of photo ops.

Hard as it might be, don't overindulge with The Dude, the actual CabFest Grand Tastings begin the following day.

The big event is the Cab is King Cult Wine Dinner. CIA Greystone has raided their wine cellar for a once-in-a-lifetime, five-course dinner and wine-pairing fete created by chef Larry Forgione.

If you'd rather taste blind, enter the Last One Standing Challenge for a shot at the Napa Valley Cab tasting title. After your evening with The Dude, quoting him during competition is totally encouraged.

“Hey, careful, man, there’s a beverage here!” is a good start.

Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater, 100 California Dr., Yountville
