The Food Network

Give the gift of great meals for a good cause

Way back in May, SFMOMA shut its doors for a three-year renovation project.

Not without some admirable foresight, though.

Before closing, the museum featured an exhibit that saw
the city’s top restaurants partnering with to offer gift certificates that gave back to the community. For every gift certificate sold, the restaurants would donate 10% to the SF Food Bank to help feed folks in need. Everybody won.
Well, six months later, the program is back. And wouldn’t you just know it, those certificates make mighty fine Christmas gifts, too. So with just over a week left until the big day, these will be your stocking-stuffer secret weapons.
Which means you’ll want to stock up.
Grab a few for Rich Table. Maybe a couple for Delfina. One or two each for Jardiniere and State Bird Provisions…
Oh, and you completely forgot the office gift exchange. Throw in a few for
Commonwealth, Bi-Rite, and Mission Chinese while you’re at it.
Best part? No gift wrapping necessary.
