Top 3 new men's shops in Union Square

We all know the suit makes the man.

But what if the suit also makes the man's neighborhood? Thanks to a slew of chic new shops (including Marc Jacobs and Hermes), there's a fresh infusion of class in Union Square.

Things are looking downright cosmopolitan in Touristville, especially at these ultra-cool luxury brand boutiques.

French New Wave:
Saint Laurent
Hedi Slimane stages a French revolution with a provocative twist in his new art deco boutique. Choose from a classic yet hip selection of dark jackets and jeans. The shock master has re-imagined the revered Parisian brand and stirred up a shopping frenzy for his men’s ready-to-wear and accessories. Quelle surprise.

Blue Blood:
Brooks Brothers
Explore four floors of sports jackets for Town & Country weekends and suits that'll make your girl swoon at the retailer’s new flagship store. Check out the luxurious Italian-made Natural Craftsmanship collection. Need a pick-me-up after browsing the shop's 26,000 square feet? Make a pit stop at the Nespresso coffee bar.

Italian Stallion:
The legendary Italian couturier will open the first U.S. boutique to carry his men’s collection any day now. It actually takes up the entire fourth floor. David Chipperfield designed the 7,000-square-foot space with Venetian terrazzo floors and custom leather furniture. You'll live la dolce vita.
