What's cookin' at this year's SF Street Food Fest


It’s that time of year again: the sun is out, the sky is blue, and you’ve got an unshakable craving for moth larva tacos.

Once again, the SF Street Food Festival is rolling into the Mission this Saturday, and we’ve got the rundown on this year’s stand-out carts.
Radio Africa & Kitchen
If you’ve never made it to this North African eatery, you’ll be glad you checked out the mobile version. Flip a coin to choose between Seven Vegetable Tangine and Grilled Flank Steak with chermoula & quinoa salad. Even if you’ve never heard the word “chermoula” before.
Brass Knuckle
Easily the most metal contenders to this year’s fest, Brass Knuckle is serving up drool-worthy Fryin’ Maiden a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with apple jalapeño slaw.
Kung Fu Tacos
Hoisin-doused “Nun Chuk Chicken” tacos aside, you’ll want to hit up these guys for a tall glass of mint lychee lemonade. Which is honestly reason enough. Especially since you've got a flask of vodka in your pocket.
Yvonne’s Southern Sweets
Pecan pie. Sweet potato pie. Pecan praline. Basically everything sweet and tantalizing that’s ever come out of the south is available at this mouthwatering cart. Except maybe for Amber Heard.
