Brand Recognition

Russell Brand takes the Palace of Fine Arts by storm

Full_russellbrand

Comedy shows: pretty great.

Arena concerts: undeniably, also pretty great.

If only there were some way to combine the two into one epic, balls-to-the-wall outing of near-unapproachable greatness...

Russell Brand is the closest thing to a rock star we have in the comedy community, and he's bringing his charisma to the Palace of Fine Arts at the end of August.

In case you need a refresher: Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Get Him to the Greek. Minutes-long marriage to Katy Perry. That thing on Morning Joe. Yeah, him.

Fortunately for just about everyone, he’s traveling the globe for his Messiah Complex World Tour, hitting up just about every major city from Chicago to Reykjavík. He’ll be riffing on themes inspired by Gandhi, Malcolm X, and Jesus so if you like your comedy with a heaping helping of controversy, this might just be the show for you.

Heads up: tickets are going fast, but there are some available on StubHub if you don’t mind a bit of a premium.

It still beats flying to Reykjavík.
