Primo Pinots

Passport to Pinot: Because you're not drinking any f'ing merlot

Full_deloachbarrels

Two reasons to visit the Russian River:

1) You can spend time on the actual river (lots of fun).

2) You can guzzle gallons of delicious Pinot (even more fun).

This weekend is all about the latter, as more than 30 Russian River wineries pop their finest Pinots at this year's Passport to Pinot event.

Each participating winery offers a slightly different experience, so choose your visits wisely. For food, we like the wood-fired pizza pairings at DeLoach, and homemade pulled pork sandwiches and slaw at Sunce.

And of course, we like nearly all the Pinot. Your passport grants you access to sips straight from the barrel, plus vertical tastings that explore a specific vineyard's past, present, and future wines.

We'll remind you here: better go ahead and book a DD now.

A lazy float down the Russian River is not a path home.
