Summer is fast approaching, and here in San Francisco that can only mean one thing: fog.
But we're San Franciscans. A little bit of fog and 25-mile wind gusts never scared us away — especially when there's booze involved.
Which is why you can find us (fog or shine) at the San Francisco Lawn Party, setting up shop at Marina Green this Saturday, June 1.
But maybe you really hate fog. Maybe a curated selection of the city's best food trucks paired with a crowd-pleasing roster of live bands and DJs isn't quite enough.
Behold: a new-for-this-year booze tent has been erected, complete with full service beer and wine bars aimed at maximizing lawn game-related silliness.
Toss a bocce ball, hurl a horseshoe, or slay the competition at cornhole. Attendees are also encouraged to bring your favorite lawn games, so if your friends have never experienced the wonder that is ladder golf, now would be an opportune time to bring it to their attention.
And bring your golden lab or boxer too; dogs are more than welcome to the all-ages event.
Because it’s not cornhole without an official mascot.
