Ditch the fam for adult Easter plans

Easter Sunday can be more than kid-friendly bonnets and bunnies.

Leave it to San Francisco to spruce up this spring holiday with plenty of offbeat festivities for the adults (and even their pups). Here's the rundown:

Avoid the Hunt: Jasper's Easter Egg Menu
All those plastic eggs making you hungry? Jasper's is offering a special menu with Easter eggs deviled six different ways including smoked salmon and spring asparagus, chipotle-romesco, and a particularly devilish treat -- black garlic and chorizo.
Sun 11:30a-12a. Jasper's Corner Tap, 401 Taylor St., Tenderloin (415-775-7979)

Furry Fête: An Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs
Please your pooch with a dogs-only Easter egg hunt for pet-friendly treats and prizes. Finger foods, a DJ, and photos with the Easter Bunny provide the human entertainment.
Sat Noon-2p. Marx Meadow, 898 John F Kennedy Dr., Golden Gate Park. $10-$15 here.

Circus Circus: "Under the Big Top" Easter in Dolores Park
Sit back and enjoy the show as the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence celebrate their 34th Anniversary with live music, drag shows, an Easter bonnet contest, and (of course) the infamous Hunky Jesus competition.
Sun 11a-4p. Dolores Park, 18th St. and Dolores, The Mission. Free.

Feel Like a Kid Again: Bring Your Own Big Wheel
Grab that plastic trike and hit the curving hills of Potrero, where oversized Big Wheelers go elbow-to-elbow in a ridiculous race to the finish.
Sun 4-8p. 20th and Vermont St., Potrero Hill. Free, but $5-10 donation encouraged.
