Awesome Threesome

Three new bars to shake up your routine

Full_edenlounge

There's a fine line between being a regular at your favorite bar, and falling into a boring routine. Liven things up with a cocktail at one of these three new bars.

Eden Lounge
Meet a first date for an aperitif upstairs at Park Tavern's intimate Eden Lounge. The trio of cocktails on the beverage menu is essentially a greatest hits version of the more extensive list downstairs (Mary Etta's Bubbles, McClaren, PT Old Fashioned), while the wine list is short and sweet with an emphasis on bubbles. One quick heads-up: Eden Lounge is often reserved for private parties, so check here before you go.

Soda Popinski's in Nob Hill
We can't think of many things sweeter than sipping a Moscow Mule at a joint named after the bald Russian boxer from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Except combining those things with Monday Night Football on three flatscreens followed by an old school Nintendo battle with your buddies.
1548 California St., Nob Hill (415-857-1548)

Fauna
The aptly-named, used-to-be-a-supply-closet companion bar to Flora is teeny-tiny with just 22 seats amid taxidermy and two televisions. And with five beers on tap (including Racer 5 and PBR), a rotating sandwich special heavy on the meat, and chicharones on the bar menu, it's just begging for you and your friends to pull a pre-show takeover before hitting the Fox.
