We come bearing excellent news.
No longer does lunch at Union Square have to mean a mediocre meal in the sweaty, kid-filled dungeon of a food court below Macy's.
Because the freshly-opened Tout Sweet Patisserie (from Top Chef Desserts Winner Yigit Pura) on the department store's third floor is now serving lunch. And it is delicious.
Enjoy an early Thanksgiving on sliced bread right next to a ginormous window overlooking Union Square. Your Tout Sweet Thanksgiving sandwich comes stacked with thick slices of Diestel Farms turkey breast, caramelized yams, and cranberry-mustard relish on a fresh-baked ciabatta roll.
And the housemade pickles on the side are a nice touch.
Relax with a cup of coffee and your pick of Top Chef-approved pastries as your other half finishes her shopping. Those lucite chairs are more comfortable than they look, and there's free wifi.
Coffee, grown-up donuts, and WatchESPN? Shopping's not so bad after all.
