That's Rich

Assimilate your date into SF's foodie scene at Rich Table

Not every woman shares your obsession with Japanese monkfish liver. (If only Match, JDate and OKCupid screened for that.)

Bring try-outs to Rich Table, officially opening July 26 in Hayes Valley.

Set the table with the adorable story of the husband and wife chef team who own the restaurant and work side by side in the kitchen. Awww.

You can both watch them in action as you stare past the warm reclaimed wood walls (sourced from a Petaluma saw mill) and into the open kitchen.

The menu is stocked with an accessible mix of farm fresh standards (beet and goat cheese salad) and outside-the-box options (a salad of watermelon and squid with black olive vinaigrette and crispy onions).

So she's free to order the hangar steak and just taste your tomato braised oxtail with charred octopus, or jump in with two feet and order a tagliatelle with duck giblet for herself.

Her decision likely says a lot about prospects for your future together.
