Mac Attack

Grub comforts Mission hunger pangs

Find out whether you can beat your mom’s famous mac and cheese casserole by building your own at Grub.

The modern but cozy comfort food joint offers plenty of options for building a custom bowl of cheesy mac goodness.

We made ours with broccoli and pancetta and were surprised at the generous size of the meaty curls mixed with creamy white and sharp cheddar cheeses.

Reserve a table big enough to bring a group (even picky eaters will be comfortable here) and create a smorgasbord of down-home favorites. BBQ fans will go nuts over ribs so tender, the bone slides out clean. No knife necessary.

When it comes time for dessert, just close your eyes and point – you really can’t go wrong. Flourless chocolate cake and a killer bread pudding had us scraping our bowl.
