If you want to usher in 2014 in top form, you'll want to do it alongside the hottest people in Seattle.

And since nights like this don't plan themselves, we've gotten our hands dirty (and slightly glittery) to compile this guide to the must-hit New Year's parties.

Spectra
One of the coolest buildings in the city is holding a New Year's party for the first time ever. Spectra boasts some of Seattle's best DJs as well as a sick variety of visual stimulation, including fire sculptures, aerialists, laser shows, and four dance floors.
Pacific Science Center, 200 2nd Ave N, Queen Anne, (206-443-2001). $100-150 here.

Seductive Dinner Party
Step into the exclusive Goodwin Library at the Pike Place Market for a decadent 14-course meal prepared by Traci Post that is the must-hit foodie event on New Year's. Bond with your girl over expertly prepared libido-stimulating foods around one of the classiest dinner tables in town.
Goodwin Library, 94 Pike St, Downtown (206-829-9525). $135 here.

Indulgence
The biggest party of the year is at the EMP Museum, a "something for everyone" affair that boasts five stages featuring live bands, DJs, and even stand-up comedy. If you're looking to get lost in a huge, sweaty crowd of inebriated fun-seekers, this is going to be the place to do it.
EMP Museum, 325 5th Ave N, Queen Anne (206-770-2700). $69-350 here.

Fenix New Year's
One of Pioneer Square's most iconic clubs, the Fenix Underground, was shut down by the Nisqually earthquake in 2001. Well, it's back in business and its first night open is New Year's Eve. They're hosting a rowdy rock & roll party featuring all-female AC/DC cover band Hell's Belles.
The Fenix, 124 South Washington St, Pioneer Square (206-405-4323). $25-60 here.

Smith Tower Grand New Year's Eve
Ring in 2014 in the ultra-swank Chinese Room atop one of Seattle's most iconic skyscrapers. The view from here is one of the best in the city, and the atmosphere is as luxe as it comes. Shawn O'Donnell, the chef of the newly-opened restaurant at the Tower's base, will be serving a gourmet meal and there'll be a champagne toast at midnight.
Smith Tower Chinese Room, 506 2nd Ave, Downtown (206-622-4004). $125 here.
