Vino Victory

The Marsh brothers deliver 300 bottles and eclectic eats at Triumph Bar

Full_triumph

The Harbaughs locked down football. The Kennedys — politics. The Baldwins — uh, we won't even go there.

But leave it to Jim and Brandon Marsh to lock down the sibling sommelier category.

Both followed the path of wine to Queen Anne, where they just opened up their first bar, Triumph. And that name's no lie.

As you'd expect, wine is the star attraction here, with over 300 bottles in the cellar. They keep around 30 bottles open for glass pours at any given time. They're also serving quartinos, carafes that hold about half a bottle, perfect for sharing.

And the Marsh brothers aren't just one-trick pourers. The cocktail menu here can go toe-to-toe with the best in town, especially the Rye Witch, made with rye, Strega (a herbal liqueur) and carbonated sherry.

The food menu's equally slick, from whole-roasted trout with lemon and herb salad to roasted pork loin panini.

Show up between 3-6p for half-price Happy Hour pours and oysters with espresso foam and a can't-miss take on street corn.

We'll be sure to let you know if we dig up any sibling savants in the corn-growing department.
