4. The Herbfarm
Seattle's new status as a foodie mecca is in no small part due to the incredible meals served up night after night at the Herbfarm. Since 1986, this place has been blazing trails for hyper-local, thematic meals that change monthly and rarely repeat. Very few dinners can be described as "life-changing" without hyperbole, but this will be one of them. Expect delicacies like smoked salmon head soup and geoduck crudo.
From $179 per person. The Herbfarm, 14590 NE 145th St, Woodinville (425-485-5300).
