Forget hard work or innovation. Winning mad loot on a game show is the real American dream.
Unfortunately, most game shows cast in New York and Los Angeles, leaving us out of luck. Don't despair, though — the greatest game show of all time is coming here for three days.
In celebration of its fortieth anniversary, The Price Is Right is taking its show on the road (albeit minus host Drew Carey). You won't be televised, but you still have the chance to come on down and compete for cash and prizes on the big stage.
No game show embraces the values of America quite like it: cheap manufactured goods, flashing lights, and pretty ladies.
All the familiar games will be there — the Big Wheel, Cliffhanger, Plinko — and the audience is guaranteed to be a hilarious mish-mosh of old folks and hipsters.
Tickets are $30, which gets you a seat in the audience just like in the TV version.
Just don't end up like this guy.
