Bust a Move

Summer is the season to strut your funky stuff in the park

It's date night but she's tired. She wants to stay home.

And there it is...she's making moves towards her sweatpants. Hurry!

Turn off the TV before Gosling or Grant can ruin the evening and turn the night into your own rom-com montage with the awesome new Seattle event series, Dancing 'Til Dusk.

Four Seattle parks — Westlake Park, Freeway Park, Occidental Park and SAM's Olympic Sculpture Park — get dance floors installed for live bands and serious body moving.

Date night is yours again. Just dip her a la Dirty Dancing, duet her a la Pitch Perfect, and be sure to show some Gosling gusto.

Feeling rusty? The first hour is a lesson so you can get up to par with the evening's dance. Styles include Western swing, ballroom, and tango. And then the bands start up and things start to get rowdy.

There are eight dances left on the schedule, but if you only have room for one, make it the Thursday, August 29 finale at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Attendees are requested to wear white.

And no sweatpants.
