Haute Depot

Product Runway turns home decor into wearable art

One of Seattle's most unique fashion events returns for a fourth year of crazy couture.

Product Runway musters local interior designers and architects and lets them loose on the human body, tasking them to create garments made from tile, carpet, and other household materials.

This year sees participants from Weber Thompson, LMN, Gensler and other top firms taking part.

The event starts with a raucous opening party that lets you mix and mingle with designers and models, so show up early.

Then sit back and watch the ladies take the runway — this year's theme is Surrealism, so expect the envelope to be seriously pushed.

General admission is sold out, but you're a baller, so grab yourself a VIP ticket.

Maybe you'll get some ideas for that bathroom remodel you've been putting off.
