John John’s Gameroom brings pinball to Cap Hill

Full_john-johns-gameroom

Believe it or not, Seattle has somehow become one of the best pinball cities in the United States.

Yes, it matters! In addition to the Pinball Museum in the International District and Add-A-Ball in Fremont, we've got the newly-opened John John’s Gameroom on Capitol Hill.

Located in the former spot of the Faire Gallery, John John's has been thoroughly remodeled by Sparrow Woodworks with raw brick walls, exposed beams, and more than 20 machines, including classics Addams Family and Captain Fantastic.

Every Tuesday, they host a $10 buy-in pinball tournament with the winner taking the pot if you feel like getting your Tommy hustle on.

Not into loot? How about booze? John John’s is 21 and over, which means you don’t have to worry about kids smudging up the machines. The bar serves beer and wine along with a limited snack menu.

You've gotta carbo-load those thumbs somehow.
