Royal Flush

Posh Stow & Go is like the Core Club for commodes

With any luck, you've never had to step foot in a public restroom in Grand Central. If you have, then you know the third circle of hell, and it's probably still stuck to your shoe.
But considering that there's a market for every single kind of luxury service in Manhattan, you don't need to smell those impossible smells any longer.
Meet Posh Stow & Go, an upcoming private bathroom club for the upscale set.
The company has a street-side members-only space planned to open near Grand Central in June. There, you'll be able to stash your stuff in digital lockers before retreating to your private lavatory outfitted with touchless faucets and automatic flushers.

And, should you need a refresher afterward, there will be "luxury" showers, too. But we don't want to know about it.
You simply sign up and commit to an annual membership — in order to weed out the riff-raff, of course — and then you pay a day rate for the convenience of privacy and a toilet that doesn't look like a Jackson Pollock painting.

On second thought, we'll take that shower now.

Membership: $15 annually, with day rates from $6-8 here; opens June 2014
