  • That's So '70s: The Regency Bar & Grill Open now
    The Sant Ambroeus team gave this birthplace of the "power breakfast" a makeover that took a year, but was entirely worth the wait. Now it's an "American grill" serving up fine steaks and market vegetables in a 135-seat dining room.

  • Pork & Knife: BarBacon Open now
    Yep, it's a bacon bar that serves four varieties of the cured stuff (even lamb bacon) served alone or in lobster rolls and grilled cheese alongside a handsome selection of craft bourbon and beer.

  • Opa Table: Blue Olive Market Open now
    Think of it as a smaller version of Eataly, but for everything Greek. Here you can get olive oils, baklava, meze, mousaka, and more to take away, or pull up a chair at the in-house wine bar for a glass or three.

  • Cava Life: El Born Open now
    Greenpoint's fine for Polish fare, but now its stepping up its tapa game at this Catalonian spot serving stone-grilled octopus, crispy rabbit, pan-seared tuna (pictured), and a selection of Spanish wines and cavas.

  • Do the Hotel Hustle: The Wayfarer Open now
    This new seafood-focused spot is supposed to evoke "the experience of an old gentlemen’s club with a touch of disco-era design," or so says the Quin Hotel. They can keep the disco, but we'll happily take the sprawling second floor clubroom bar.
