  • A Diner, But Not a Dive: Empire Diner Open now

Chelsea's greasy spoon, shuttered in 2010, is now back under the helm of Top Chef Amanda Freitag, who's serving classics (patty melts, buttermilk pancakes) as well as more highbrow trout almondine and burrata with lox.

  • Beat It: Margaux at The Marlton Open now

The recently opened Marlton Hotel now has a French-Mediterranean bistro (pictured) offering black bass crudo, cauliflower custard, and rotisserie chicken with Turkish pepper, alongside Beat-inspired cocktails.

  • Bones to Pick: Hill Country Brooklyn Open now

The Hill Country crew has opened a pair of new outposts across the river, with its famous fried chicken on one side and the full Barbecue Market on the other, plus a new whole-hog supper available on Sundays.

  • Hookah Up: Pergola Open now

This new Mediterranean spot is a little clubbier than your average mezze joint serving hummus, phyllo cigars, and grilled prawns, and as such it also offers a bevy of hookah options as well as a thorough cocktail menu.
