This Week

Well, last week was certainly an important one when it came to New Yorkers' down-there bits. Let's try to keep it in our pants this week, guys.

  • Get Juiced: Stanley's Pharmacy Open now

This bright, tropical-themed spot really is a working pharmacy — but it also sells fresh-squeezed juices, kombucha on tap, and house-made tinctures to cure all of your minor ailments (read: hangovers).

31 Ludlow St. (Hester St.), Lower East Side (646-476-9622)

  • Salad Days: Sweetgreen Open now

Now open in the NoMad Hotel, this greens spot isn't just another Chop't — the salad and wrap menu is totally seasonal, the fresh juices organic and cold-pressed, and the frozen yogurt made to order with local honey and candied pecans.

    1164 Broadway (28th St.), Nomad (646-449-8855)

  • Park It: Zona Rosa Open now

Because nothing says summer like drinking in an Airstream, this new taqueria from the people behind Mesa Coyoacan put one inside its kitchen. Now serving Lebanese-style tacos, tamales, and tortas ahogadas, with a second floor roof deck devoted to ceviche.

571 Lorimer St. (Metropolitan Ave.), Williamsburg (917-324-7423)

  • Uptown, Italian-Style: Flat Top Open now

The people who opened Jin Ramen last year have taken up residence in a new casual food-and-wine spot nearby that focuses on Mediterranean-influenced bistro fare, with a prosciutto-topped Caesar salad and mushroom risotto.

1241 Amsterdam Ave. (121st St.), Upper West Side (646-820-7735)

  • Spit Take: Sembrado Open now

These guys do al pastor the real way, with massive pieces of pork slowly cooked on a spit before being crammed into tacos, which are also made with pork belly chorizo and grilled cactus — a perfect complement to Sembrado's massive mezcal selection.

    432 E. 13th St. (First Ave.), East Village (212-729-4206)
