Luckyrice returns to show off Asian cuisine in its prime

Back in the States, we’re doing our part to take things to the next level, too. Especially when it comes to the food at the fourth annual Luckyrice Festival, kicking off Monday, though anticipated for months now. You already missed your chance to hang out with Danny Bowien of Mission Chinese and James Murphy (formerly of LCD Soundsystem) at the kickoff party.

But there's still time to get in on the Cocktail Feast hosted by Iron Chef Morimoto, the Night Market at the Maritime, or the Dim Sum Mahjong Bloody Mary brunch.

We don't know about you, but that just seems like a pretty solid combination.    

And where else would it be appropriate to hold the Grand Feast than at the 36th-floor ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental, an Asian-inspired hotel of luxury and excess? It wouldn't be a capital-G Grand Feast without SakaMai Chef Takanori Akiyama's roasted duck marinated with ginger soy, lardo Iberico DeBellota, and foie gras mayonnaise.
