Here's a thought: you've been paying too much for fine food.
At least, that's the concept behind Buns & Buns, which has found a way to serve up excellent dishes at reasonable prices.
But before we get into all that, it's worth noting that Buns & Buns is not an ass-themed restaurant. No, they perfected the idea after Chef Reuven Sugarman and his two business partners spent three weeks traveling the globe and discovered one constant: crusty, fluffy, glorious bread.
So they created an order-at-the-counter bread-based pairing concept. Match an excellent cheesy naan with the vegetable terrine, for instance, or the $25 lobster with a sweet brioche, its center as soft as whipped cream.
A fine way to end the meal: hot chocolate buns, little donut balls with dipping sauces.
All of this is delivered at five bucks for apps and entrees from $10 to $25.
So you'll break bread without breaking the bank.
