Beer Worship

Wynwood's brewery builds a place to seriously geek out over growlers

Since old Wynwood warehouses became a hip art district a few years back, a whole lot of beer has been downed.

Mostly it has been the cheap stuff handed out by galleries. And while there’s nothing wrong with free beer, what’s pouring now is far better.

That’s because the Wynwood Brewing Company’s new taproom pours beers
six days a week.

The place is a serious palace to brews, with a row of barstools facing into the brewery. Watch steam rise from stainless tanks before going home with a growler of
Wynwood IPA or La Rubia blonde ale.

Come Tuesdays for two bucks off a 20-ounce. Or better yet, hit it during Craft Beer Week, beginning Jan. 19, when the brewery taps something new daily. Like the Death By Elvis
Pop’s Porter infused with peanut butter, bacon, and banana.

Yeah, this definitely isn’t cheap gallery beer.
