Sometimes, a dude just needs to chill.
In comes Public House, where the bar is simple, the music is low, there’s no cover, and you can wear whatever the hell you want.
Plus, as the first non-smoking bar in Miami Beach, you won’t be coughing up a lung all night.
The owners of this tight South of Fifth spot turned what used to be Love Hate into an intimate hole-in-the-wall — without the mold and broken bathroom doors. With lowered ceilings and decor filled with wood and exposed brick, it’s reminiscent of a cozy bar from up north.
Instead of yelling over way-too-loud music, chat with your posse over a game of darts or pool. When you find a cutie, talk at the couch by the bar and order some craft beers or a mixed drink — there’s no cocktail menu, so it’s really whatever she wants.
Finally, a place with real bottle service.
