Knight’s Tale

The dark ages move into Hollywood

They say you've gotta look back to look forward.

But how about looking forward to looking back?

In April, we went back in time to wrestle live bears, listen to wacky pub songs, and socialize with the wenches at the Florida Renaissance Festival.

Now, we're heading back even further — to the middle ages for the Camelot Days Medieval Festival at the Topeekeegee Yugnee Park in Hollywood.

Walk around devouring a giant turkey leg while taking in the sights of rough combat battles with swords and slinky belly dancers with bejeweled midriffs.

If you can keep your eyes moving from there, you'll also witness cannons going off, offbeat reenactments of Romeo & Juliet, and fire-eating comedians. There's also an extreme game of chess that includes a sword fight on a huge chess board.

And we thought these guys were intense.
