While October has its share of scary good Halloween happenings, November is a month full of sweet-sounding, mix-matched musical genius.

Here are the top 3 music acts to listen up for in November.

Juicy J's Twerk or Die Tour
No, Twerk or Die is not a Miley Cyrus ultimatum, it's just the ultimate in slick hip-hop performances. Here's a primer: “Bandz A Maker Her Dance.” Juicy J's killer resume includes collaborations with Trey Songz and Wiz Khalifa, and his sick lyrics are worth the hour trip up north for this show.
Fri Nov 8 9p. Club Cinema, 3251 N Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach (954-785-5225). $25 here

FONFest Official Pre-fest with La Vida Boheme
Step inside this Little Havana musical domain and get ready to be transported into a world of 80s punk and electronic disco with this alternative Venezuelan band. Hear funky offbeat tracks from their new album Sera while possibly getting involved in their notorious paint-splashing routine
Fri Nov 8 10p. PAX, 337 SW 8th St., Little Havana (305-640-5847). $10-20. Call for tickets.

One Love Nutrifest
Get lost in trance from artists all over the globe including Jamaica’s own Stephen “Ragga” Marley and Natiruts from Brazil. For this all-day reggae fest, they're changing it up with live painting, drum circles, and old-school interactive gaming (and we're not talking about Dungeons & Dragons).
Sat Nov 23 1p. Peacock Park, 2820 McFarland Rd., Coconut Grove (305-442-0375). Free before 3pm with food donation. $45 and up after, here.
