When reveling in giant steins of beer, salty meats, and ladies donning sexy lederhosen during Oktoberfest, your lack of German heritage is irrelevant.

But it doesn't hurt.

Here are the top three Miami Oktoberfests to check out this fall.

Brick-toberfest
No need to wait till October to start celebrating fall's most awesome holiday, thanks to this brand new beer festival in Brickell. This outdoor fete features more than 75 beers, rock bands Sekond Nature and Bootleg, and serious beer competitions that lead up to a wild afterparty at Fadó Irish Pub.
Sat Sep 28. Mary Brickell Village, 901 S. Miami Ave., Brickell. $25 and up here.

Coral Gables Oktoberfest
While other ale fairs might only last for a weekend, this baby goes for 11 straight days. The guys over at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus pack the celebrations with wacky Austrian bands, live yodeling, Schuhplattler dancing, and some damn good bratwurst.
Oct 3-13. Bierhaus Plaza, 60 Merrick Way, Coral Gables. Free admission.

Oktoberfest Miami
Creating raucous Oktoberfests in South Florida for 58 years, these folks know how to throw a proper German shindig. German beer? Check. German bands? Check. Extra juicy tenderized schnitzel? Oh check yes.
Oct 18-20 & Oct 25-27. The German American Social Club, 11919 SW 56th St., South Miami. $10 and up here.
