In the Raw

Bar Crudo makes Ocean Drive worth it

It's just too damn hot to eat anything cooked on an open flame.

Which is why we welcome the new Bar Crudo on Ocean Drive.

Inside this Latin-flavored seafood raw bar, you'll find small tapas of octopus ceviche with rosemary and sweet potato, artichoke with olive and pecorino crostini, and the occasional pork belly with summer truffle for those who can't break away from things fired up.

But if murals of beautiful women splashed along the air-conditioned walls are too heady a mix of cool and hot, you can keep it simple on the outdoor terrace where you'll be right at home people-watching.

This is still Ocean Drive, after all.

Pair your on-the-sly Insta'ing with a thirst-quenching jalapeno-watermelon margarita packed with buzz-guaranteed Espolon tequila. For something ultra-smooth, we recommend the oak-infused house barrel-aged Negroni.

Just don't make eye contact with the guy walking the beach with the python on his shoulder.

That's Insta-awkward.
