Dodging the dead might be Brad Pitt's new role in World War Z, but sometimes even he needs some help with stopping the zombie pandemic.
That's where you come in.
The plan of attack? Head over to The Undercover Unit, where you're the key to humanity's survival as you save the world in a live interactive alternate-reality game.
In this creation by former Coast Guard search and rescue team member/undercover cop Tony Slade, the action takes place in the 18,000-square-foot basement space in Downtown’s 777 building.
Players gear up with camouflage vests, helmets, safety goggles, earplugs, and a mask. Then the troops maneuver through smoke-filled narrow hallways and hidden passageways, all the while dodging zombies.
Get touched by one of these soulless corpses and that, as they say, is game over.
The object is to find the lone survivor who holds the clues to buying weapons (in this case, airsoft guns shooting up to 280 feet per second) used to demolish zombies and ultimately, discover the vial that contains the code for a full-scale zombie annihilation.
Don't worry, Mr. Pitt. We got this.
