Gruesome Twosome

The best of both worlds at the Block X Blog Music Festival

Peanut butter goes with jelly like fake body parts go with Miami.

The same pretty much goes for art and music, which is why Fort Lauderdale is bringing you both on a platter.

We're talking about the Block X Blog Music Festival, taking place inside local venues America’s Backyard, Green Room Nightclub, and Revolution Live.

As you weave in and out of these different spaces, you'll hear live sounds from Brooklyn synth-pop duo Holy Ghost!, psycho-rock tunes from Lil Daggers, and something called "bluegazing garage pop" from the The Goddamn' Hustle

DJs Andie Sweetswirl, JAMS, and Afrobeta play between sets as you scope colorful pop-inspired pieces along with interactive artwork.

And no, by "interactive artwork" we're not referring to the food trucks parked outside (beer booths, too). Though we're pretty sure shaved tavern ham grilled cheese and flaky fish tacos will look pretty spectacular by the end of the night.

At the very minimum, Instagram fodder.
