New York’s Meatpacking District comes to the 305 with this ultra sleek lounge at the James Royal Palm. Rather than joining the ranks of monstrous nightclubs that Miamians have grown accustomed to, this newbie provides a sexy, intimate spot dressed up with gold-mirrored glass ceilings and backlit x-ray panels surrounding the bar.
1545 Collins Ave., South Beach (786-224-7200)
This recently-opened nightclub is already known for its stellar music arrangement with shows by electro bigwigs deadmau5, Kaskade, Tiesto, and Avicii. Previously club Amnesia, the geniuses behind LIV and Arkadia created the newest contender in the Miami club scene with rapid purple pulsing lights and live female booty shakers.

The legendary Gale Hotel returns to the strip, bringing this club newcomer along for the ride. Scheduled to open at the end of January, this laid-back lounge offers a warm feel with light woods, funky leather couches and trippy-looking fabrics for a more sophisticated take on that old basement game room you grew up partying in.
