Queen Bee

The latest psychedelic gastro-lounge to freak up the beach

Last year it was Haven who tricked out our senses with their futuristic liquid nitrogen cocktails and freaky psychedelics.

This year, we have Queen Lounge, a new South Beach hub with trippy lighting and swanky drinks to entertain us.

Her majesty houses 4,000 square feet of faux gold mirrors, crystal chandeliers, copper brown wallpaper, and abstract metal artwork.

And though she remains regal on the first floor thanks to a black granite-top bar, she looks like something out of Tron on the second, thanks to U-shaped leather booths with glowing LED tables.

Because you've always wanted a glowing Old Fashioned or a Wild Side spiked with tobacco biters.

Bring your cocktail to the VIP room, where a massive Prohibition-style mezzanine glass wall overlooks the entire first floor.

Observe your kingdom. Choose your princess.

Get your first taste tomorrow night at the official grand opening, with an open bar, goat cheese jamón truffles and kobe beef sliders.

It's a night fit for a king.
