Strip Show

The Cromwell is coming to class up The Strip (and Giada's coming, too)

You know what they say about early birds.
Only in this case, you’re getting a helluva lot more than a worm.
You’re getting a sneak peek into The Cromwell, the Strip’s first luxury boutique hotel/casino, opening this spring but taking reservations starting next week.
Breaking down the hotel’s three main parts:
The Hotel
With 188 rooms reminiscent of Parisian loft apartments, expect distressed hardwood flooring and posh vintage furniture with plenty of black and gold French accents throughout the eight-story luxury hotel where Bill's Gambling Hall once stood. Not to mention a sprawling 40,000-square-foot casino. Duh.
The Restaurant
Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis will be opening her first restaurant, GIADA, on the first two floors of the hotel. Fresh pasta will be made by hand daily, where you can dine on lemon spaghetti or eggplant rollatini while taking in views of the Bellagio fountains through automatic retractable windows.
The Rooftop
Local nightlife mogul Victor Drai will be taking his famed late-night spot Drai’s After Hours to the rooftop of the hotel — complete with palm trees, pools, and day beds. Besides the beach club, there will also be sleek dayclub and nightclub venues as this party comes complete with the best outdoor views in Vegas.
