Vegas welcomes new German import Bier Garten

Full_sausage

From Paris Las Vegas to New York-New York, Las Vegas has long been known as the Epcot Center of debauchery.

Introducing Sin City’s latest European import, direct from Germany: Bier Garten, opening in December in front of the Plaza downtown.

Finally, a place to sip massive pints of ale in a grassy European beer garden of picnic tables and ping-pong overlooking Fremont Street.

Step inside and belly up to the bar for impossible-to-pronounce German ales on tap including Weihenstephaner and Franziskaner or play the ugly American with a bottle of Sierra Nevada or Newcastle.

But the German engineering gets real serious when it comes to the six types of artisan sausages, ranging from Louisiana hot links to cheddar bratwurst with your choice of sauces including cheese whiz, ranch, and BBQ.

Can’t decide? Choose from one of their six “signature wursts” such as the Cajun Andouille Sausage topped with bacon strips, cream cheese, and a fried egg. Then order another beer. And repeat.

Plus with giant German pretzels and Belgian waffle ice cream sandwiches, Oktoberfest is now officially a 12-month holiday.
