The only thing better than treating your new Vegas "girlfriend" to a night at Wolfgang Puck or Mario Batali's restaurants?
Dining with the legends themselves. Which will make you a legend with her.
Hobnob with celebrities and dine like Sin City royalty at La Cucina Italiana Food & Wine Festival, a four-day culinary experience at the Venetian. Here’s your rundown of the fest’s can’t-miss events:
Puck It: Dinner With Wolfgang Puck
You’ve seen him everywhere from Iron Chef to The Simpsons. You’ve seen his restaurants everywhere from Beverly Hills to the Indianapolis airport. Now it’s time to sit down to dinner with him. Join select members of the media as a VIP guest for a carnivorous Tuscan-style meal prepared by Wolfgang Puck and legendary Italian butcher Dario Cecchini — who not only are cooking, but also entertaining with stories.

Massive Spread: The Grand Banquet
You’ll feel like Italian royalty at this 200-seat table in the Venetian’s Grand Colonnade as you sit down to a decadent family-style meal melding new and old-world Italian recipes from Cecchini and the festival’s master of ceremonies Mario Batali. Pair vintage Italian wines with white truffle risotto, veal Carpaccio, and 24-month Galandi prosciutto served by elegant attendants dressed in traditional Italian costumes.

New School: How to Italian
The Palazzo’s waterfall atrium is transformed into a traditional Italian marketplace, where you’ll gather supplies for a series of how-to courses and chef demonstrations. Sip prosecco as you learn how to create avante-garde dishes, Neapolitan pizza, and gelato in a village-like setting in between sessions in mixology and artisanal Italian beer. Or take your cues from Mario Batali himself as he takes you into the world of Italian cured meats.
