Vegas is seductive, sultry, sensual...
And now even more beautiful.
Introducing the new festival Life Is Beautiful, taking over Fremont Street next month with more music, food, and art than a Roberto Benigni film.
It wouldn’t be a Vegas music fest without a headlining set from the city’s most famous arena rock revivalists The Killers. Add to the list fellow rock superstars Kings of Leon, Beck, and Vampire Weekend…and you’re still not even close to done.
Don’t miss dozens of up-and-comers including Childish Gambino (a.k.a. Community star Donald Glover) and the rising indie sisters of this year’s most-buzzed about band Haim. And, for those feeling nostalgic, check out Jurassic 5 and Living Colour.
Rub elbows with celebrity chefs including local icon Michael Mina and co-founder of NYC’s Gramercy Tavern, Tom Colicchio. Explore a culinary village with more than 50 restaurants in a bazaar of epicurean delights with gourmet dishes served a la carte for under $10.
Watch chefs create dishes live on a sub-zero climate-controlled stage or, if you can’t decide, take a three-hour culinary dining tour to various downtown venues including EAT and Park on Fremont for all the pig, whiskey, and beer you can handle.
Sat-Sun Oct 26-27 5-8p. $130 w/ festival ticket here
Amidst all this action will be an urban art gallery as Fremont Street is transformed into an outdoor showroom showcasing street murals and graffiti-style art from local artist Aware and freaky drawings from The Stencil Network.
And, if you’ve been meaning to check out Cirque du Soleil’s local shows but never made it past the craps table, now’s your chance to see performers from Cirque shows including Mystere, O, and Zumanity — not to mention Rock of Ages and Michael Jackson One.
