From the highest of class to the most decadent of flash, here are our top three new Vegas openings of 2012.
3. The Ainsworth at Hard Rock Hotel
The Hard Rock’s new upscale sports lounge might just be the classiest place to drink $2,500 bottles of Patron while yelling at the TV after a fumble since… well… ever. And with one of Vegas’ only in-bar gaming windows, you can place your bets while eating sirloin sliders, all without ever leaving your barstool.
4455 Paradise Rd., Paradise (702-522-8120)
2. Nobu Hotel at Caesar’s Palace
OK, we cheated. While technically not opening until 2013, Caesar’s Palace’s new Nobu Hotel is currently accepting reservations (we already made ours), where 18 luxury suites are built around the largest Nobu restaurant in the world. With sushi delivered to your door and executive limo/SUV service, you can go all Emperor of Japan without leaving Nevada.
3570 Las Vegas Blvd. S., The Strip (702-731-7110)
1. The Act at the Palazzo
No club had us hanging from the ceiling quite like the Palazzo’s racy new club The Act, a performance-based den of debauchery combining risqué vaudevillian theatre with upscale nightlife. Party with performers backstage or get involved on stage during dark, sexually charged acts that feel like an X-rated Cirque du Soleil acid trip.
