Fourth Meal

Because the casino buffet just doesn't cut it anymore

Here in Vegas, we realize that drunken eating is not just a pleasure. It’s often a necessity.

Good news for those of you in need of walkable fourth meals: Two of Sin City's best late-night food joints have opened new locations within stumbling distance of the Strip.

Tacos el Gordo
Tijuana-based chain Tacos el Gordo arrived at its Downtown location two years ago, bringing us carne asada, meats al pastor (sliced shawarma-style off a spit) and exotic, booze-neutralizing tacos. Its newest outpost is literally in the shadows of the Wynn and Encore.
What to get: Adobada (spicy pork) fries, topped with cheese, guac, and sour cream.

KJ Dim Sum & Seafood

Low on ambience, high on Cantonese authenticity, KJ has long been a Spring Mountain staple for crab fried rice, salt & pepper pork chops, and clay pot seafood. Now at the Rio, KJ's added a dim sum menu. And it's open till 2a, an hour later than the Chinatown location.
What to get: Potstickers, XO salt and pepper crab. In that order.
