Pete Rose may never make it into the Hall of Fame, but his autograph still carries a lot of weight.
Which is why Rose is taking matters into his own hands, making sure that if anyone is going to profit from him selling out, it’s Pete Rose.
Rose and his memorabilia machine have arrived at Antiquities in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace to sign notarized copies of the document that banished him from baseball.
Bound in copper and leather, the official document is signed, "I’m sorry I bet on baseball," and notarized. Rose will be on hand most of December to personalize copies for the fans (at no extra charge!) – and is hoping to sell all 1,000 copies.
Says his publicist, “This is what he does for a living – because no one wants him back in baseball.”
So for Pete’s sake, buy up and help the guy sell out (again) before Christmas.
