Meat Over Martinis

The Hard Rock's new steakhouse



Only in Vegas.

This month's opening of 35 Steaks + Martinis at the Hard Rock threatens to shatter the steakhouse model.

No, there aren't 35 meat-tastic entrees, demanding a Peyton Manning-like streak of prolonged superhuman indulgence to get through the menu.

But 35's signature dish, the Tomahawk, is a 35-ounce beast of  35-day aged prime cut of beef that you and your party will talk about for at least 35 weeks.

Though that last part was just an estimate, call it a guarantee if you pair the Tomahawk with a side of applewood bacon creamed spinach.

The scene is classic Hard Rock, all grown-up. Chrome-plated chandeliers dangle from the ceiling with the standard rock ‘n roll photos adorning silver textured walls.

Thanks to a musically-influenced wine list, you can order from a “Wines that Rock” section.

And if you plan on eating all 35 ounces of that Tomohawk, go ahead and order twice.
