Good news. That whiskey heist you've been planning may not be necessary.
The pairing experts at The Wine Shop are taking some time away from sorting their reds and whites to couple half-ounce pours of the rarest whiskeys known to man with you. And a five-course dinner.
That means Winkle Family Reserve 13-Year-Old Straight Rye Whiskey with venison tenderloin, Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old Bourbon with blistered corn ravioli, and Pappy Van Winkle 23-Year-Old Bourbon with caramel and black sea salt goat cheesecake.
If for some insane reason you can’t make it next Tuesday (alien abduction, bear attack, dinner plans with Adriana Lima, etc.), you can drown your sorrows in specially crafted, Sinatra-inspired Jack Daniels.
The less-rare, but still exclusive whiskey is being served this Thursday with passed appetizers and mixed drinks. Even better, the price of your ticket can be put towards purchasing your own bottle of Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select (normally $150).
No matter which whiskey dinner you make it to, one thing’s certain: you’ll be needing a ride home.
