Fresh Meat

Roadhouse LA delivers world-class comedy and tasty animal craniums

You know that one time you laughed so hard milk came out of your nose?

This time, it's a little different.

Taking over the tables at the recently renovated comedy club is Roadhouse LA, a meat-filled collaboration between the Umami guys and award winning BBQ master Robbie Richter.

You're gonna laugh hard. But save room for the headliner. Literally. A full head and shoulders of lamb, pork, or beef that's available daily for anyone hungry enough to take down a whole animal during the show.
Starting tomorrow, comedians will share stage time with traditionally smoked BBQ classics punched up with international flavor. Think ribs with plum sugar and fish sauce, Punjabi poutine with curried goat, or fajitas made with Indonesian-spiced short ribs.
Which basically means you’re going to leave happy, even if the guys on stage bomb.
The food, the heckling, the savagery of carnivores. The whole thing kinda reminds us of Medieval Times, updated for tooday's foodie scene.
Ah, we got it. Millennial Times.
