Herringbone LA takes residence at the Mondrian

Your days of wandering Sunset Boulevard looking for the perfect seared diver scallop are over.
Your days of stumbling home from the Mondrian stuffed full of delicious food are not.
Open this week in the hotel’s old Asia de Cuba spot is Herringbone LA, the WeHo outpost of Brian Malarkey’s (The Taste, Top Chef) La Jolla joint. And your new home for hamachi crudo, king crab pasta, and chicken fried sea urchin & waffles.
The fish-meets-field menu is taking over two private dining rooms, the exterior lounge, and the outdoor restaurant and bar, giving you the ability to change up the scenery all night without ever having to stop eating.
Which is nice, since your Saturday itinerary now includes calamari by a fire pit, whole fish ceviche at Skybar, and Earl Grey seared duck breast inside.
And for a midnight snack? San Diego-approved carne asada fries from Herringbone’s room service.
Oh yeah, you’ll be staying the night.
